Magalas in Hérault, has a population of about 2,000 people and those who live in Magalas are called Magalassiens. It is famous in the locality for its wine and sun.

It is one of the larger villages found north of Béziers and offers a choice of three restaurants and two bars. There are all the essential 'commerces' to be found there, such as bakers, newsagent, hairdresser, pharmacy, corner shop and more.
