Ticket machines for airport taxis at Suvarnabhumi International Airport

In a few days, computerized machines will be installed at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, where tourists can purchase tickets for the airport taxis with a few clicks.

The computerized system replaces the previous ticket desk where the staff handwritten listed the number of passengers and the destination on the ticket, so there were long waiting times again and again. The terminals will be installed outside the Gates 4 and 7 in the first floor of the airport building. The taxi allocation shall take place according to the order of orders received. Families and groups with several pieces of luggage have the opportunity to book at the slots a larger vehicle with sufficient space. According to the airport operator the new computerized system can make a reservation process within five seconds, so queues are likely to belong to the past now. Paid is still at the taxi driver.
